Clear privacy terms for the Genesis Pro Find website and mobile app.
This policy explains what Genesis Pro Find collects, how we use it, when it is shared, and how camera, notifications, authentication, and operational data are handled across the product.
Genesis Pro Find provides a marketplace and service-management experience across web and mobile surfaces. This policy applies to our public website, authenticated web application, mobile application, and the related backend services that support them.
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the service. If you have questions, contact support@genesisprofind.com.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, password, account role, profile details, service preferences, notes, messages, and any files or documents you choose to upload.
If you use marketplace features, we may also store the operational data required to run the service, such as job requests, schedules, Estimates, booking activity, and in-app communication history.
Camera and space scanning
The Genesis Pro Find mobile app requests camera access only when you choose to use features that need it, including document capture flows and, when available, space scanning tools.
On supported devices, a scanner may analyze a room to generate approximate technical measurements, detected surfaces, and structured scan results. We do not use camera access for background surveillance or unrelated advertising purposes.
Saved scans may be standalone or optionally linked to a client or Project. They are not sold for advertising, and camera access is not used for background monitoring.
Notifications and device data
If you enable push notifications, we may store your push token, device name, platform, and notification preferences so we can deliver service updates, reminders, and operational alerts.
We also store session tokens and selected app preferences in secure device storage to keep you signed in and preserve settings such as biometric login or UI preferences.
How we use information
We use your information to create and maintain accounts, authenticate users, verify email addresses, support provider and customer onboarding, deliver marketplace workflows, send transactional notifications, and improve product reliability.
We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand usage patterns, improve features, and support fraud prevention, abuse detection, and operational auditing.
How information is shared
We share information within the Genesis Pro Find platform only as needed to provide the service. For example, customer request details may be shown to relevant providers, and provider profile information may be shown to customers considering a hire.
We may also share information with infrastructure and service providers that help us operate the platform, such as cloud hosting, email delivery, authentication, and notification services. These providers process data on our behalf and under contractual restrictions.
We do not sell personal information for third-party advertising.
Service providers for chat
Hostinger, our production hosting provider, may process or store platform data needed to run Genesis Pro Find, including chat messages, attachments, report records, moderation records, databases, backups, and operational logs.
When participants use chat translation and the recipient needs another supported language, we send only the current message text, source language, and target language to OpenAI so the recipient can view a translated message.
We do not send chat attachments, full private-chat transcripts, report notes or evidence, booking records, Project records, or participant profiles to OpenAI for chat translation. Translation requests are configured not to create Responses API application-state storage.
Expo Push Service, Apple APNs, Google FCM, and browser push providers may receive device routing data, a generic notification title and body, and an action link. Chat push notifications are designed not to include private message text, attachment filenames, report notes, or evidence snapshots.
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain required business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.
A translated chat body may be cached with its source message so participants can reopen the conversation without requesting the same translation again. The cached translation follows the same deletion and retention controls as its source message.
Our current OpenAI API account uses the default abuse-monitoring retention mode, under which translation inputs and outputs may be retained for up to 30 days. Our organization is not opted into sharing API inputs or outputs for model training.
If you request account deletion, we will remove or anonymize personal data when reasonably possible, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, or record-keeping requirements.
Your choices
You can control certain permissions through your device settings, including camera access, biometric login, and push notifications.
You may also contact us if you want help updating account information, requesting deletion, or asking privacy-related questions.
Children
Genesis Pro Find accounts are available only to users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly create accounts for minors or collect personal information from minors through account registration.
We ask new users to confirm the 18+ requirement during registration. We do not collect date of birth for this account gate in the current release.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date below.
